Albion Online: Building Your Own Player Island

Player's Island is a little part of privacy in Albion's Online world for every player. Island can be accessible to You or also Your friends. It is possible for players to arrange these places individually. Everyone has own imaginations and expectations, that's why freedom of choosing between several opportunities is extremely helpful.

Transform Your Island into place to meet with friends or place from you can make profitable benefits, be creative with the following knowledge.

In major cities, You can find Island Merchants, talk to them in order to purchase an Island. Major cities:. Islands are premium featuresso You have to obtain at least 30 days active premium status to own one. Follow these steps to get Your Island!

Guild Islands differs from Private Islands in a few features. Guilds received an attractive possibility to own an Island. As I said, You can choose what kind of development Island would have, it depends on Your needs. The same thing works in Guild Islands. Buildingscosts and upgrades had been customized for various tasks. Following statistics are the significant differences between two types of an Islands:. If You already have individual Island don't worry about loss when premium status ends.

The end of the status doesn't affect accessibility or functionality. Even without an earlier bought premium, You can enter Island freely. In my opinion, Caerleon should be the best choice. This city is the only one with access to Black Zone and is the most popularised in the Albion Online world. You wouldn't later bother travelling from different places all the time, and for sure, you wouldn't regret later picking Caerleon because of benefits of its location and population. There are many various options on how to make Albion Silver that i have described in " Albion Online Silver - How to make a silver guide ".

Few of these methods rely on activity on the Island. Another good profitable way how You can use Island is growing herbs. Use all possible features that you have access to and You would feel the benefits from private Island for sure. In my opinion, there is no better moment for purchasing Private Island than this first possible moment. Go and treat silver as an investment into the future, it's silly to hold that silver rather than getting constant benefits because of earlier buy.

Fight for your life

Hi all, I barely played in beta but am getting a good feel for the it now. I am curious about having multiple accounts with multiple islands on each, and having one alt just to sit on the islands and farm. In the terms and conditions, I found this: " However, if the User is playing the Game with multiple Characters at the same time, all of the following rules must be followed: i the Characters may not interact or cooperate with each other if they are located outside of a player city, guild home territory, personal island or guild island, ii the Characters may not engage in combat together and iii the Characters may not act as scouts for each other.

October 2008

I'm also curious about islands. If I do purchase two accounts, and on each create three characters, and buy a month of premium on all of them, I will be able to have 6 islands in total, correct? And by setting up my permissions, I can allow one character access to build and farm on all of those islands? I'd like to make sure I understand this properly before investing the money and time.

Finally, because most of the farming will be done on one character, is there any restriction on transferring silver between my characters and accounts? I would like to upgrade each island as I progress, and believe that can only be done by the island owner.

In addition, I would like to be able to pass the profits from my alt to my main, as needed. Hopefully this makes sense, and someone more experienced than I am can give me some advice.

I will be able to have 6 islands in total, correct? I can allow one character access to build and farm on all of those islands? Should be fairly profitable yeah, been making alot of cash currently with just water half of the plots I've had no problems transferring silver between my accounts no, Tho i just use my "alt" chars strictly for watering, i pick up and plant with my main char so my alts never really get any silver. Hmm alright, that makes sense. I think I'd rather have a second dedicated "farmer" character, if possible, just to save me the trips back to the islands.

Well the thing is u only make 1 trip once aday to ur farm rly. True, but that one trip might start taking a lot of time If we're talking 6 accounts, each with five farms That's 30 farm plots that take about a minute each, plus transportation to and from the island, plus buying and selling seeds and final goods and whatnot. I could see it taking easily an hour a day or an hour every other day.

As a relatively casual player who only plays maybe hours on weekdays, that's a huge portion, so I'd much rather handle it on a second account. Stupid thing to do tbh. Im saying serious time wasting issues, could even be hrs per week. All these time could be better spent on your main and get that artifact specialisation to Albion is an alternative name for the island of Great Britain.

It is sometimes used poetically to refer to the island, but has fallen out of common use in English.

Multiple Accounts and Islands?

These names were later Latinised as Albania and Anglicised as Albanywhich were once alternative names for Scotland. New Albion and Albionoria "Albion of the North" were briefly suggested as names of Canada during the period of the Canadian Confederation. The name originally referred to Britain as a whole, but was later restricted to Caledonia giving the modern Scottish Gaelic name for Scotland, Alba. It may be related to other European and Mediterranean toponyms such as AlpesAlbania or the river god Alpheus deity meaning "whitish".

It has two possible etymologies. This is perhaps in reference to the white southern shores of the island, though Celtic linguist Xavier Delamarre argued that it originally meant "the world above, the visible world", in opposition to "the world below", i.

By the 1st century AD, the name refers unequivocally to Great Britain. But this "enigmatic name for Britain, revived much later by Romantic poets like William Blake, did not remain popular among Greek writers.

From these words the Romans derived the Latin forms Britannia, Britannus, and Britannicus respectively". The Pseudo-Aristotelian text On the Universe b has:. Pliny the Elderin his Natural History 4. It was itself named Albion, while all the islands about which we shall soon briefly speak were called the Britanniae. A legend exists in various forms that giants were either the original inhabitants, or the founders of the land named Albion.

To reach that happy shore thy sails employ There fate decrees to raise a second Troy And found an empire in thy royal line, Which time shall ne'er destroy, nor bounds confine. After many adventures, Brutus and his fellow Trojans escape from Gaul and "set sail with a fair wind towards the promised island".

Notwithstanding this, the pleasant situation of the places, the plenty of rivers abounding with fish, and the engaging prospect of its woods, made Brutus and his company very desirous to fix their habitation in it. Later, in the 14th century, a more elaborate tale was developed, claiming that Albina and her sisters founded Albion and procreated there a race of giants.

The youngest would not be party to the crime and divulged the plot, so the other princesses were confined to an unsteerable rudderless ship and set adrift, and after three days reached an uninhabited land later to be known as "England". The eldest daughter Albina Albine was the first to set shore and lay claim to the land, naming it after herself.

At first, the women gathered acorns and fruits, but once they learned to hunt and obtain meat, it aroused their lecherous desires. As no other humans inhabited the land, they mated with evil spirits called " incubi ", and subsequently with the sons they begot, engendering a race of giants.

These giants are evidenced by huge bones which are unearthed. Brutus arrived years after Albina, before the birth of Christ, but by then there were only 24 giants left, due to inner strife. The octosyllabic poem appears as a prologue to 16 out of 26 manuscripts of the Short Version of the Anglo-Norman prose Brutwhich derives from Wace. Octosyllabic is not the only form the Anglo-Norman Des Grantz Geanzthere are five forms, the others being: the alexandrineprose, short verse, and short prose versions.

A variant tale occurs in the Middle English prose Brut Brie ed. The princesses are all banished to Albion after plotting to murder their husbands, where they couple with the local demons; their offspring became a race of giants. The chronicle asserts that during the voyage Albyne entrusted the fate of the sisters to "Appolyn," which was the god of their faith. The idea is to collect a bunch of questions from the 'albion-questions' channel on Discord, from the Beginner's Questions Forum or any other source and answer them here.

If you have a different opinion on how a question or answer should be phrased - either change it if it is clearly wrong or put it up for discussion on the Discussion page. Depending on how many questions we can collect, we will just expand this page to a general FAQ.

But for now the focus is on new players. The answers to these questions are likely partially subjective and various opinions on how to answer each question will exist, based on how different players like to approach Albion. A: In-game, there is the "help" channel in your chat box. Out of game, there are the various resources mentioned above where you can ask questions. The beginner question's section on the forums or the albion-questions channel on the official discord are a great place to start.
